Cynthia on the Economy

Message from Cynthia on the Economy:

Times have been looking down for the economy, businesses and Malden residents. I have first-hand experience now in the uncertainties of the times, that we live in. The week before the Primaries, here in Malden, I was let go from my accounting position at a local business. It was sudden and unexpected. This was a job I held and loved for the past seven years. This economic downturn affects all of us in one way or another. For John and myself, uncertain Healthcare coverage and watching every dime have become high priority facts of life.

While I spend most of my days sending out resumes and going on job interviews, the upside is that I am now able to give my husband, John Robillard, more help in his bid to be elected the next Ward 6 City Councilor this coming November 8th.

As a family, as a Ward 6 resident and as a Maldonian, we will do everything possible to help revive the local economy so that we can all enjoy better standards of living. Thanks to everyone for all your support.

Treasurer

My name is Cynthia Robillard, wife of John Robillard, Candidate for City Councilor Ward 6 Malden. I am pleased to announce my position as Treasurer of the John Robillard Campaign Committee.

John and I have been married for 23 years. We purchased our home in Malden just a couple of months after our wedding.  Malden is where we raised our three children.

I am a lifelong resident of Malden and graduate of Malden High School, where I was known as Cynthia Guazzerotti(maiden name).
I met John, while we were both employed at Ruderman’s Furniture on Ferry Street.
My current work is as a staff accountant in Wakefield.  John is currently retired.

I am very active on the mission committee at Good Shepherd UMC of Malden and have been involved with Bread of Life preparing and serving meals every other month at St Paul’s Church.

I fully support my husband on his exciting new venture to help the city of Malden in different ways.  I know him to be a good, honest and intelligent man, who wishes wholeheartedly to do what is best for the citizens of Ward 6.  John calls on me as his greatest supporter, while being his steadfast conscious.

Treasurer’s Appeal – July 2011

Thank You!!

John Robillard is a voice for all the residents of Ward 6 and for issues affecting our whole city of Malden.  If you want your voice to be heard in City Hall, consider making your donation to “The Committee to Elect John Robillard“.

While donations are coming in, running a campaign is very expensive.  The campaign has received nearly $200 in generous donations.  Thank you.

The committee is working hard to introduce John to the neighborhoods.  Your financial support is truly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Cynthia Robillard, Treasurer

Treasurers Appeal – June 2011

The Treasurer's Comfy Blanket

I want to thank everyone for supporting John’s campaign for the Ward 6 Council seat.  With generous donations, John will have a better than fighting chance to get his message out to convince the residents of Malden, that a new set of eyes, ears and hands will help guide the city to a brighter future.

The current state of finances is as follows.
Understandably, we started late, so as of the end of June 2011, we have $0.00 available in campaign donations for expenses.

If there is any help that you or your neighbors can give, to get us beyond working on a shoestring budget, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
Cynthia, Campaign Treasurer
